Australian Sunset Safaris is one of the most exciting tour companies in Queensland. Our main places of operation are Moreton Island, Fraser Island and the Southern Great Barrier Reef, performing day tours and multi day tours. We service the domestic and international tourism industry for travelers and visitors to Queensland, and also provide education tours and camps for schools and universities all over the world.

Sunset Safaris is well known in the industry for having fun, and our tour guides play a vital role in this strategy. We are strongly customer focused, and all who work in our company must be service orientated accordingly. While preferred, experience in the tourism industry is not essential, as training is provided. This position may spend nights away from home performing Day Tours and Multi-Day Tours. Busy days are offset by a very rewarding lifestyle. Most meals and all accommodation are provided at our island-based tourism centers while on tour.

The following are MUST Have requirements for this role:

• Medium Rigid Licence as a minimum
• Live in (or intend to live in), or close to the Brisbane, Logan or Gold Coast region
• Heavy vehicle driving experience
• 4WD driving experience
• A good driving record
• A love for the great outdoors
• Some mechanical knowledge
• Great communication skills
• A Fun-loving personality
• A Queensland Drivers Authority, or the ability to gain one
• Able to do some heavy lifting

Successful candidates will have an advantage if they possess the following, but it is not necessary:

• Knowledge of Moreton Island
• Strong Mechanical Knowledge
• Cooking and Camping Skills
• Good swimming skills
• A commercial boat and/or PWC licence
• A current First Aid qualification
